The decoders have to be initiated in Rocrail. Symbols for turnout, sensor and push button have to be created in the layout. The single “circle” as symbol for the occupation sensor of a turnout might work quit well. Names for them are allocated by the user.
Than information has to be inserted into configuration tables.
Each decoder is allocated a unique free IP-address out of the range 192.168.xxx.2 - 192.168.xxx.250. The last triplet is the Rocrail "Bus" number. Occupation of the turnout is reported with a sensor having the same Bus and Address as the turnout the sensor belongs to.
Each decoder has eight digital and one analogue sensor.
Each decoder is allocated a unique free IP-address out of the range 192.168.xxx.2 - 192.168.xxx.250, skipping 192.168.xxx.9. The last triplet is the Rocrail "Bus" number. The sensors report using "Address" numbers 1 .. 9.
The analogue sensor is made available on the PCB. The use is up to the user to create.
