DigiTal-Bahn.de offers DIY electronics for variouse digital solutions. For turntables you can use the "Drehscheiben-Dekoder".
On the Digital-Bahn web site you will find all the information you need to convert your analog turntable into a digital one controlled by Rocrail.
Restrictions & Problems
- only 24 tracks addressable
- no position reached feedback. You have to add feedback sensors around the turntable and a magnet on one end of the bridge.
- needs at least one or two seconds pause between commands
- difficult to change track setup
